The Young Professionals Network (YPN) was founded by the Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce in 2007 to allow individuals between the ages of 20 and 40 to form social and professional connections with each other and with other members of the Chamber and community. Any young professional who lives or works in the greater Jacksonville, Illinois area may become a member of YPN.
YPN allows its members to network with each other and learn more about the community through activities such as:
- Monthly social events
- Tours of member businesses
- Volunteer opportunities at local not-for-profit organizations
- Professional development seminars
- Attendance at Chamber events
Meetings of YPN are held as called by the membership.
